Ricotta came to us in partnership with one of our favorite shelters. She was very underweight and very scared. Ricotta is with a wonderful foster family that is showing her love and patience and fattening her up. She is about 5 years old and weighs 39 pounds. She has had her first set of shots. Ricotta will be heartworm tested, microchipped and spayed before adoption. She is housebroke. Ricotta has not been dog or cat tested yet but is great with teens.
Marty came to us in partnership with one of our local shelters after he was attacked by 4 other dogs. He is a handsome 2 year old Boxer weighing 53 pounds. Marty is housebroke, good with other dogs and super sweet. He is up to date on shots and heartworm negative. He is neutered and microchipped. Marty needs a home with no small dogs.
Cami was adopted from ODM in 2018 but now due to the health of her owner she is looking for a new home. Cami is a 4 year old Mini Sheltie that weighs about 21 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and HW negative. She is housebroke and has had basic training. She gets along with other dogs after proper introduction. She does like to bark at critters she sees out in the yard and can be a bit yappy per her current owner. Further information available upon request and application submitted.
The last 2 of our hoarder Chihuahuas finally made it to the vet and are now up to date on shots, microchipped, HW negative. They will be spayed on 1/27 and adopted by their foster family.
Happy is a 10 pound male and Penny is his “twin” sister at only 3.7 pounds. Per the owner they actually shared a sac at birth.
Tucker is a 1 year old male Boxer or American Bulldog mix, we think. I only weighed 39 pounds but with slowly gaining I am up to 50 now. I am up to date on shots and am heartworm negative. I am microchipped and neutered. I am housebroke and am very cuddly. I am a bit hand shy with sudden movements but enjoy being loved on. I love wearing my new sweatshirt when it’s cold outside. He is also good with kids (met ages 5,10,15) but not good with farm animals or cats. I have not done a dog meet yet.
Merry Christmas everyone! I was brought into the shelter by Animal Control after I was found living outside, already severely underweight, covered in fleas, with no shelter and no food available. Thanks to the folks at ODM I am happy to be in a home with a warm bed all my own and with a wonderful foster family. I am being fed small meals 4 times a day to help me gain weight.
