Sophia Stella

Can you stand how cute this pup is?  SophiaStella came to us from her elderly owner because he was worried he would step on her.  She is reported to be a Doxie/Shih Tzu mix and is 15 weeks old and weighs 6 pounds  SophiaStella just got her first puppy shots and microchip.  We also discovered that she is, in fact, blind.  She is doing great in her foster home and is reported to be a goodball.

Twinkie

Twinkie is just the sweetest dog and she LOVES kids.  Twinkie is a black/white Pug/Pom mix and 8 years old.  Owners lost their home, and there is no remaining family so she ended up in the shelter; they took them when the mother passed away so this is just an unfortunate situation.  She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and heartworm negative.  At 19 pounds Twinkie is a bit overweight and could stand to lose a few pounds.  She is housebroke and great with the dogs and cats in her foster home.

Leah

Leah is an adorable 2 year old female long hair Chihuahua mix, looks more like a Papillon.  She is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed.  Leah is a tiny 6.8 pound cutie.  Leah is good with other dogs and cats.  She is housebroke.

Daisy—On Hold

Welcome to Miss Daisy.  Daisy’s owner of 5 years passed away and Daisy found herself in the shelter.  She was lonely and scared so one of our great fosters picked her up and took her home.  Daisy is doing well and beginning to feel safe again.  She is scared of men but coming around with her foster dad.

Daisy is a 5 year old West Highland Terrier (mix).  She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative.  She is 15 pounds.

Mars

Mars came to us from a hoarding situation in cooperation with CCAS and was adopted by his foster mom.  Due to some changes in her situation Mars is looking for anew home.  He is a 1 1/2 year old Chihuahua/JRT mix.  He weighs 9 pounds.  Mars is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, dewormed and treated for fleas/ticks.  He has been  microchipped and neutered.  He is good with other dogs.  Is good with children as long as they respect his space and understand that he is scared of them and loud noise.  Mars would love a home with someone who wants a cuddle buddy and who will go slow with him.
