Cami was adopted from ODM in 2018 but now due to the health of her owner she is looking for a new home. Cami is a 4 year old Mini Sheltie that weighs about 21 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and HW negative. She is housebroke and has had basic training. She gets along with other dogs after proper introduction. She does like to bark at critters she sees out in the yard and can be a bit yappy per her current owner. Further information available upon request and application submitted.
The last 2 of our hoarder Chihuahuas finally made it to the vet and are now up to date on shots, microchipped, HW negative. They will be spayed on 1/27 and adopted by their foster family.
Happy is a 10 pound male and Penny is his “twin” sister at only 3.7 pounds. Per the owner they actually shared a sac at birth.
Tucker is a 1 year old male Boxer or American Bulldog mix, we think. I only weighed 39 pounds but with slowly gaining I am up to 50 now. I am up to date on shots and am heartworm negative. I am microchipped and neutered. I am housebroke and am very cuddly. I am a bit hand shy with sudden movements but enjoy being loved on. I love wearing my new sweatshirt when it’s cold outside. He is also good with kids (met ages 5,10,15) but not good with farm animals or cats. I have not done a dog meet yet.
Merry Christmas everyone! I was brought into the shelter by Animal Control after I was found living outside, already severely underweight, covered in fleas, with no shelter and no food available. Thanks to the folks at ODM I am happy to be in a home with a warm bed all my own and with a wonderful foster family. I am being fed small meals 4 times a day to help me gain weight.
After a month of working with the owner, on November 21st we brought in 7 little Chihuahuas from a hoarding situation. Blanca is one of them.
Blanca is 1 year old and weighs 9 pounds. She is a super cute creamy, long hair young lady. Blanca is a bit shy with humans still, as most of the pups had no interaction or affection from humans. Her foster is working with her on trusting and hopes to be able to win her over soon. Each day gets a little better and Blanca is giving hand licks and will sit next to her foster mom on the couch. She is pee pad trained, but getting better each day at going outside and with leash training. Blanca does not do well with children as loud noise upsets her. Blanca is up to date on shots, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. She is spayed. Blanca is doing very well with her foster’s dogs and is starting to play with toys.
After a month of working with the owner, on November 21st we brought in 7 little Chihuahuas from a hoarding situation. Molly is one of them.
Molly is 3 years old and weighs 7 pounds. She is a super cute tan young lady. Molly is a bit shy with humans still, as most of the pups had no interaction or affection from humans. Her foster is working with her on trusting and hopes to be able to win her over soon. Each day gets a little better and Molly is giving hand licks and eating treats offered by hand. She is pee pad trained, as they all are, and has not been leash walked or outside in a yard yet. Molly is not recommended for a home with kids. Molly had her very first ever vet visit yesterday and now has her first set of shots, heartworm tested negative, and dewormer. She will not be available until her spay on 1/6 (after a sonogram to make sure she is not pregnant.)
