My name is Pebbles and I’m a 2-year-old Papillion mix. My fur is tri-colored and silky soft. I only weigh about 12 pounds. Everyone tells me what a sweet little girl I am, and I agree! My favorite hobbies are giving kisses and snuggling with my human. I also enjoy the great outdoors and will walk beautifully on a leash. When I was rescued, the vet found some nasty bladder stones in me. Thanks to One Dog More, I got the surgery I needed to take away my pain. I have made a full recovery and am much happier without those icky stones in me. Since the vet doesn’t know why I developed the stones, it’s important for me to stay on a prescription diet that helps prevent the stones from coming back. The first 2 years of my life are a mystery. I love humans but can be frightened sometimes. Right now the only way I know to express my fear is by biting. I’m learning that humans don’t appreciate that and trying my best to improve. It’s important for me to live with humans who are patient and willing to help me learn. I like to play with balls and small toys, but sometimes squeakers scare me! I do okay with other dogs, as long as they give me my space and respect if I’m feeling afraid around them. I am heartworm negative, spayed and up to date on my vaccinations. UPDATE: She is so much happier and calmer since recovering from her spay surgery. Her biting has decreased bunches and is not considered a problem by her foster. Although her biting is almost nonexistent, she would still thrive in a calm household with a human who is willing and able to train her. Speaking of training, she is fully crate trained and sleeps all night in her crate without incident. She is also accustomed to lounging in her crate when no humans are home. Her crate has become her safe place, and she enjoys it thoroughly.
