It is so true when they say that one persons trash is another person’s treasure because with Pete you have found yourself a real treasure. Pete is an 11 pound Chihuahua mix who is about 1 1/2 years old. Up to date on shots and neutered. Pete smiles and has lovely teeth. Pete LOVES toys and will dissect a toy to explore the squeaker; however, he is not a chewer and has not destroyed anything in his foster home other than his toys. Pete is very affectionate and loves to snuggle into the crook of his foster dad’s arm. He loves having the freedom of a fenced in backyard where he can do zoomies but he also does really good on a leash when going on walks. Pete gets along with all dogs – big and small and would be happiest in a home with at least one k-9 playmate. Pete is very smart and listens to basic commands. He is crate trained and working on housebreaking. Pete is a very smart boy who would do amazing as a therapy dog or in agility training. He does amazing in the car. He is definitely NOT what you would consider a “yappy” little dog. Pete is in a foster home in Richmond, VA, but can be delivered anywhere in the area.
