Poncho is a 5 year old male Chihuahua. Poncho is a tad bit overweight at 14 pounds and would do well to be put on a diet. Poncho is neutered. He is up to date on shots, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. He had a dental in August 2017. He previously lived with other dogs and with kids. He is housebroke. Loves going for walks with his foster mom and her dogs.
From Poncho’s foster mom: Exercise has made him move more and he now has more energy. I even saw him run at the beach this morning! I had to tighten his halter a bit so that is a good sign. He is so sweet. Won’t climb the stairs to the top floor for bed but is happy to be carried up for bed. He can do the steps into and out of the house just fine. He seems afraid of the big stairs though. He makes me smile. He even tried to play for 2 minutes today and now he wags his tail and wiggles when I get home.
Poncho and 3 other dogs were abandoned when their previous owners moved and left them behind in the empty apartment. Poncho and Joey were adopted by their foster back in August 2017 but are now looking for a new home due to unexpected life changes. They are not being kept together.
